They say real life is stranger than fiction, and it sounds like the Salem Witch Trials of 1692-1693 were a horrible black mark on our nation’s history.
To that end, WGN America is gearing up for a new period drama called “Salem,†based on the historical accounts of Salem, Massachusetts.
Starring Seth Gabel and Shane West, “Salem†“explores the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this ignominious period in American history. The witches featured are real, but they are not who or what they seem.â€
