It’s been way too long since Neptune got a dose of Veronica Mars, and this spring Kristen Bell and her crew will hit theaters all over the country.
The Kickstarter-funded “Veronica Mars†flick was just given a March 14, 2014 release date as well as a nationwide release rather than the limited opening it was initially assigned.
Creator Rob Thomas started the crowd-funding campaign back in March 2013, and ended up raising a whopping $ 5.7 million from 91,000 backers.
Thomas told press, “Warner Bros. had this date circled for quite some time and hoped it would stay open. Luckily, no other teen detective movie decided to open in the middle of March.â€
Earlier today (December 4) an excited Ms. Bell tweeted a link to the good news along with the message, “Goooood MORNING MARSHMALLOWS!â€
