Kate Middleton & Prince William Pay Their Respects to Nelson Mendela

Remembering a leader lost, Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived at the South Africa House in London on Wednesday (December 11).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge signed a book of condolences for Nelson Mandela, who passed away last week (December 5) at the age of 95.

Kate looked lovely in a darling polka dot dress as she spoke with the guests about wonderful Madiba memories.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the royal couple were attending the UK premiere of “Mendela: Long Walk to Freedom” when news of the former South African’s leader’s death broke.

On December 6, Buckingham Palace released a statement from Queen Elizabeth II reading: "The Queen was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Nelson Mandela last night. He worked tirelessly for the good of his country, and his legacy is the peaceful South Africa we see today," the statement read. "Her Majesty remembers with great warmth her meetings with Mr Mandela and sends her sincere condolences to his family and the people of South Africa at this very sad time."
