She was trapped in a tumultuous marriage until some shutterbugs shed light on the issue, and now Nigella Lawson is coming clean about her ex-husband Charles Saatchi’s true character.
During her testimony at a fraud trial of her former assistants Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo, the celebrity chef was asked about the aftermath of her infamous throat-holding episode outside a restaurant earlier this year.
Lawson shared, "He said to me at the start that if I didn't go back to him and clear his name he would destroy me."
Furthermore, Nigella stated that Saatchi spread “false allegations of drug use†about her. “I have been put on trial here… and in the world’s press.â€
