Possibly appealing for some help after her career went on the rocks, celebrity chef Nigella Lawson may attempt to rebuild her reputation with the help of Oprah Winfrey.
Following her divorce battle with art tycoon Charles Saatchi, the âNigella Bitesâ author dealt with harsh media investigation, and the trial she now faces against her former assistants had also revealed her past substance abuse.
During the proceeding, defense lawyer Karina Arden asked the celebrity chefâs assistant, Anzelle Wasserman, "You know, don't you, that Miss Lawson has signed an exclusive agreement with Oprah Winfrey in January?"
Wasserman apparently replied with,"That's not correct," but she was not given the chance to continue. A judge reportedly put an end to the lawyer's question, stating that Miss Lawson herself would be better suited to answer it.
As the confusing story unfolds, Lawson, who currently acts as a judge on the Food Network reality series, "The Taste," will most likely use the media attention to further her career, and clear her name.
