Paul Walker’s Family Collects Late Actor’s Remains

Making final preparations for the funeral of Paul Walker, the Walker family received his remains from the LA County Coroner’s Office on Monday (December 9).

According to TMZ, the “Fast and Furious” actor’s folks took his body to a local mortuary and have begun figuring out how he’ll be laid to rest.

Walker was killed in an automobile accident along with his friend Roger Rodas when their 2005 Porsche Carrera GT collided with a pole and burst into flames.

Director James Wan told press that while everyone surrounding the “Fast and Furious 7” project is currently on hiatus, they’ll eventually resume filming.

Previously, Universal Pictures stated, “Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family, and our extended ‘Fast & Furious’ family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on ‘Fast & Furious 7’- for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.”
