Stars Express Gratitude for 2014 Golden Globe Nominations

Pleased to have their work recognized by such a prestigious association, celebs are speaking out after being nominated for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.

After making a splash on the small screen, Kerry Washington nabbed a nod for Best Actress in a TV series for her ABC show, "Scandal." Bursting with happiness, she stated, "I’m enormously grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for this honor. It’s humbling to be nominated alongside such talented and hard-working women whose work inspires me.”

Meanwhile, Julianna Magulies was pleased about her show, "The Good Wife" being honored, gushing, "Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for honoring our show, THE GOOD WIFE, with three nominations. We are having an amazing season and it's so great to be recognized bythe HFPA. Congratulations to my co star, Josh Charles, and our wonderful creators, Robert and Michelle King.”

Adding a little humor into his joy, Live Schreiber was geeked about the nomination for his Showtime series "Ray Donovan," exclaiming, "While it is exceedingly difficult to feel worthy of anything at 530 in the morning, I have gathered my thoughts since and want to add my gratitude to the Hollywood Foreign Press for the nomination. Great Morning. Thank you."

Amy Adams, who is also hoping for a Best Actress win from her work in "American Hustle" said, “I am so honored that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has recognized my work alongside such brilliant actresses. Also a huge congrats to the amazing writers, directors, and casts of American Hustle and Her for their nominations. Truly a day for gratitude.”

Last but not least, Joaquin Phoenix gushed about his chances at winning the Best Actor award for his work in "Her," saying, “Thanks to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing Her. Spike wrote a wonderful story and I couldn’t be more pleased for him.”
