Joining up with the DC Comic world, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are reportedly set to produce a film adapatation of the Vertigo comic series, "Sleeper" for DC Entertainment and Warner Bros.
Sources also state that "The Killing" writer David Wiener, and "The Shield's" Shawn Ryan, are responsible for writing the screenplay for the action flick.
According to the original comic's synopsis, "Sleeper was set in the Wildstorm Universe and concerned the travails of Holden Carver, a covert operative who has been placed undercover in a villainous organisation led by TAO, a WildC.A.T.s villain from Alan Moore's run."
However, the more recent "Sleeper," which ran from 2003-05, and centers on an operative whose fusion with an alien artifact makes him impervious to pain and allows him to pass it on to others through skin contact. He is placed undercover in a villainous organization by an intelligence agency and falls for a member of the group, named Miss Misery." We'll see which adaptation the dynamic Hollywood duo will follow in their upcoming movie!
