He’s been a busy man as of late, and Will Ferrell showed up at “ Conan†last night (November 20) to plug his new movie “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.â€
In full character as Ron Burgundy, the “Stranger Than Fiction†star explained, “My dear, dear, dear friend Mayor Rob Ford of Toronto is running for re-election. I hold him in highest regard, he is THE BEST. Outstanding individual.â€
“He’s asked me to sing the campaign theme song for his re-election,†added Ferrell, apparently unaware of Mr. Ford’s crack-smoking, prostitute-frequenting ways.
From there, Will jumped up, sang Loverboy’s “Working For the Weekend,†and broke into a jazz flute solo halfway through.
