Zappos Fires Back at Kanye West for "Sh*t" Product Review

He’s always ready with a strong opinion, and when Kanye West blasted the head of Zappos for giving him advice, the company was all too happy to reply.

West told Bret Easton Ellis’ podcast, “I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh*t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh*t product.”

To that end, the Zappos crew put together a web page with a very unique plunger for sale (with a $ 100,000 price tag) and tweeted out the link.

The post read, “Interested in buying sh-t product? You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody!”

“This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris. It’s the perfect gift for the man that has everything.”

And it sounds like customers are in on the joke. One reviewer wrote, “Yo Zappos! Imma let you finish… but this is the best Sh-t product of all time!”
