Getting back to work for the week, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx showed up on the set of “Annie†in Harlem, NYC on Monday (December 2).
The “There’s Something About Mary†babe and the “Ray†hunk filmed a dancing scene with Quvenzhané Wallis and Rose Byrne on the outdoor location while fans and shutterbugs looked on.
Based on the 1977 Broadway musical that won seven Tony Awards, “Annie†is the rags-to-riches story of an orphan girl who ends up getting adopted by a cranky-turned-loving billionaire.
Changing things up from the 1982 feature film, this new version stars Cameron as Miss Hannigan, while Foxx plays Benjamin Stacks (formerly Daddy Warbucks), Miss Wallis plays Annie, and Ms. Byrne covers the role of Stacks’ assistant.
