Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Tackle “Sandman” Adaptation

He’s proven his action star chops with projects like “Inception” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” and now Joseph Gordon-Levitt is gearing up for a new venture with Warner Bros and DC Entertainment.

The “Don Jon” hunk will likely star in the forthcoming “Sandman” flick and may even be persuaded to occupy the director’s chair as well.

Back in November, Joseph pitched a treatment of the story to the folks over at Warner, though he didn’t specify if he’d star, produce, or direct, though he may be looking to do all three.

Per the synopsis, “Sandman centers on Morpheus, alternately known as the Lord of Dreams, the Dream King, or, at its simplest, Dream. He is, in essence, the personification of dreams, and is one of the seven Endless, a group of all-powerful beings who have existed since the beginning of time.”
