Kelly Clarkson waited a lifetime for a moment like this ... okay, maybe not. However, the singer has nabbed the role as new brand ambassador for Citizen Watch Co.
The timepiece company has committed to highlight the market of women and announced Clarkson will be the perfect fit.
âIn the coming year, Citizen will focus on the womenâs market with fashion-forward styling and breakthrough technological innovations to meet the needs of modern womenâs lives,â said president Jeffrey Cohen.
He added, âWe feel that Kelly Clarkson ideally reflects the values of our brand. We admire how she continually builds on her talent to reach new heights in her music and performances, as well as her inspirational and accessible style. Also, as one of our key goals is to celebrate womenâsâ lives â" we feel that our customers will warmly relate to Kelly as she embraces her new roles as a wife and mother-to-be.â
The pop icon will be join New York Giant Eli Manning, tennis player Victoria Azarenka, and race car driver Matt Kenseth, all whom also promote the products. You can catch the Clarkson-fronted ad when it runs this spring.
