After recently creating a Match.com profile, Martha Stewart had some interesting insights to share about the world of online dating.
What made Martha create an online dating profile? "It was in the spirit of experimentation, and I was also prompted a bit by Matt Lauer after an interview on The Today Show," Martha explains.
She found the algorithms and criteria used to determine compatibility especially interesting. "I got thousands of responses!" Martha admitted. "I think it was interesting to get to know what a dating service is like. In my company, the average age of the young women is around 30, and a lot of them have found dates on sites like Match.com."
Martha recently went on two dates with two different people recommended by the site. "They were very pleasant, very nice, and it's worth trying for people who have trouble finding a date or partner."
