She's used to taking the stage and belting out her numerous hits, but tonight (November 24) Jennifer Lopez performed at the
2013 American Music Awards for another reason.
The three-time AMA winner paid tribute to the late iconic singer and Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz, with a booty shaking mashup of some of her biggest hits.
Before making her arrival on the red carpet, JLo was already preparing for the memorable performance, tweeting a photo of Cruz with the caption reading, "I've got one very special person on my mind this morning! #AMAs."
“[Celia's] music was full of work and energy, it fills your soul and in your bones when you listen to it, you can’t help but dance, I feel like she made the world dance,†Lopez told The Associated Press. Check out her performance below!
