Speculation started last month that the Mother Monster was taking over as the fashion empire's new Spring/Summer 2014 campaign, and now it's official: Lady Gaga is the face of Versace!
On Saturday (November 23), the fashion house shared the news via Twitter, writing, "Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga."
The "Applause" singer responded with a tweet of her own, writing, "I’m so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia.â€
Versace replied, "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you. -Donatella.â€
According to reports, the 27-year-old rocked a few of Donatella's designs during her "SNL" hosting gig and a song from her latest album ARTPOP is inspired by the fashion designer.
