It seems that "Fashion Police" co-host Joan Rivers is still holding a grudge against the Oscar-winning actress, telling the New York Post, "My New Year’s resolution is [ensuring] Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down.â€
Clearly Rivers is still touchy over Lawrence's comments back in November that shows like "Fashion Police" tell young people to judge others based on "all the wrong values and that it's OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat."
Rivers, 80, initially responded to the 23-year-old's comments via Twitter, writing that the actress was "arrogant and a hypocrite -- apparently Lawrence loved Rivers' show when they were complimenting her during award season but began railing against it when she had a movie to promote.
Lawrence didn't respond to Rivers' tweets directly, but she did go on to tell Barbara Walter that she believes it should be "illegal to call somebody fat on TV."
The "American Hustle" star has been candid about her refusal to lose weight for roles, her distaste for dieting, and willingness to admit when she's been photoshopped -- yet Rivers seems to think her campaign is nothing but an act.

Ashley Diana Morris has had a fairy tale year.
The gorgeous Vancouverite who bears a strong resemblance to Anna Nicole Smith was named the face of Guess Lingerie and Bikini last January, rocketing her to instant fame in the fashion world.
But that wasn't quite the best part of the Pickering, Ont.-born model's 2013. No, the apex of her year was when she married West Vancouver dentist Geoffrey Gillespie in front of 80 people in the Bahamas on Nov. 9.

"I got the marry the man of my dreams," she told The Huffington Post B.C. "That is first and foremost the best thing that happened to me this year."
Morris and Gillespie met through the dentist's friend, Bryan Henry, who first encountered the future supermodel while she was working as a bartender at Toronto's Harbour 60 Steakhouse in 2010. She was studying sports journalism at Centennial College at the time.
Henry soon sent Gillespie a text: "I just met your future wife. You can thank me later."
The two exchanged e-mails and learned that they had a lot in common. Gillespie flew out to Toronto and Morris picked him up at the airport. They did long distance for about six months before she moved to Vancouver.
He proposed two years later, at the very place where they met in person.
Morris and Gillespie shared the task of planning the wedding. Wanting to avoid the Vancouver rain, they nearly chose Niagara-on-the-Lake before settling on the $ 14,000 per night One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
It was the very same resort where "Casino Royale" was produced, and the soon-to-be-married couple stayed in the suite where Daniel Craig filmed a steamy scene with Caterina Murino.
"We were in shock, they must have liked us a lot," Morris laughed.
The bride wore a lace Maggie Sottero dress as the couple tied the knot at the resort's Versailles Gardens. Everything went to plan except the reception, which they had to move to a covered area after the rain started coming down.
The newly-married couple then spent an additional six days in the Bahamas before flying home.
January marks the start of a busy year for Morris as she travels to Germany, then Miami and New York.
It isn't always easy for the couple to see each other.
"He doesn't mind getting on a plane to come visit me for weekends and I'm so used to flying out," Morris said of her husband.
"We make it work."

The name is a popular one among the celeb crowd as Alicia Silverstone named her son Bear Blu in 2011, while Jamie Oliver named his son Buddy Bear Maurice back in 2010.
Bear is the third child for Winslet, who has two other children from her previous marriages; 13-year-old Mia Honey, whose father is Jim Threapleton, and 10-year-old Joe Alfie, whose father is Sam Mendes.

Surprising fans of her iconic character, Rogue, Anna Paquin will not return to her role in the upcoming superhero flick, "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Bryan Singer, the director of the movie, confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the scene featuring the 31-year-old beauty has been cut from the final film.
The scene, featuring a rescue, as shot early in the film's production, showcasing the talnets of Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Shawn Ashmore, and it was the only sequence featuring Anna.
According to "X-Men: Days of Future Past's" synopsis, "The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants."

"Fast 7" will now arrive in theaters on April 10, 2015 instead of July 11, 2014.
After Walker's death on Nov. 30, however, Universal put an indefinite halt on the sequel's production.
“Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended 'Fast & Furious' family of cast, crew and filmmakers," a representative for Universal said in a statement on Dec. 4. "At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on 'Fast & Furious 7' for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise."

Getting a little heat thrown his way on Twitter, Steve Martin made an apology for a post he put up on Friday (December 21), that may have gone a bit too far.
The 68-year-old comedian was engaging in a back-and-forth with fans and followers about grammar, using their questions to make wisecracks and a few jokes at their expense. One fan asked Steve, "Is this how you spell lasonia?"
The "Cheaper By the Dozen" star responded, writing, "It depends. Are you in an African-American neighborhood or at an Italian restaurant?" And, realizing that his joke may have been taken the wrong way, he removed it from his Twitter feed.
When a follower mentioned the remark, Steve tweeted, "In retrospect, bad joke. Sorry about that." And when another fan expressed disappointment in him, Martin wrote, "I did apologize. But again, a second later I realized what an offensive thing I’d done. Deep bow."

Instead of going to some hoity-toity nightclub, Beyonce hit up Dave & Buster's in Times Square to celebrate the release (and the record-breaking success) of her self-titled album, E! News reports. She headed to the entertainment venue after her concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Thursday, Dec. 19, with her friends and fans, including Drake, who was quick to applaud the superstar.
"I just came out tonight to let you know congratulations to each and every one of you that worked on this sh*t, for real," Drake told the audience. "And of course to the queen, the utmost congratulations."
Queen Bey uploaded multiple photos from the party to her Instagram account. There were games, there were cakes and there were even light-up bow headbands like the ones from her "XO" video.
Oh, there were also shots, and Beyonce tossed them back with her fans like a pro.

Two months ago, Dina Eastwood filed for divorce from her director husband of 17 years, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for full physical custody of the couple's 17-year-old daughter, Morgan. TMZ now adds that Clint is also ready to fight that request, and wants joint physical custody of Morgan.
Dina first filed for legal separation in September but reportedly dismissed her original filing in court just two days later. Around the same time, she took to Twitter after the "Gran Torino" star was reportedly spotted with a mystery blonde and generated much backlash. She wrote: "I don't like reading negative things about Clint. He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."
Then in October, as mentioned, she filed for divorce.
Earlier in December, Dina was a guest on Bethenny Frankel's show and admitted she never thought divorce would happen to her, adding: "I'm not a crier. I don't get shaken up by things." She said her plan now is to "not cry three days at a time."
Dina also elaborated on her soon-to-be ex-husband's relationship with his children, saying: "[T]hey are getting a fun version of dad and a more chill version of mom and life is good for the kids. They are pretty happy."

LOS ANGELES (AP) â€" Marketed as Ben Stiller's bend toward drama, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" finds the actor, who also directed the feature, seemingly exuding super-human strength while jumping between buildings and battling his nemesis as they surf asphalt.
The lampoon-like scenarios seem far too fanciful when attempting to take Stiller seriously. But these are just the narratives the title character weaves in his mind. In reality, Walter Mitty, played by a poised and sincere Stiller, is an insecure photo editor with an affinity for daydreaming. Adapted from a short story of the same name, which was written by James Thurber and was published in 1939 in The New Yorker, the outlandish scenes in "Mitty" bring the most memorable element of the original tale â€" reality bending â€" to the forefront. Thurber's sarcastic narrative found Walter Mitty at odds with his bickering wife and escaping his humdrum life by daydreaming he was a war hero, surgeon and sharp shooter. The first rendering of "Mitty," which maintained Thurber's comedic tone, was realized on film in 1947. It starred Danny Kaye, who this time, battled with an overbearing mother.
Written by Steven Conrad, the contemporary rendition, in which Jim Carey was originally supposed to star, sees the real world altered with such wild inflection that it's hard to digest. Visual techniques like interspersing the text of the opening credits into Walter's surroundings, prove to be the most innovative and clever effect of the picture. Luckily, the CGI-marred moments flood only the first 30 minutes of the film, allowing for a loaded, inspiring experience familiar to other serious Conrad works like "The Pursuit of Happyness."
In the new "Mitty," Stiller's Walter works at Life magazine, which is transitioning from print to digital. A brilliantly vexing Adam Scott plays Ted Hendricks, the ringleader of a band of executives who've come to supervise the completion of the last issue and fire a large chunk of the magazine's staff.
In this take, the women aren't nags. Shirley MacLaine, who plays Stiller's mother, Edna, and Kathryn Hahn, who plays his sister, Odessa, are quite pleasant and supportive. It's Ted who acts as the villain. He takes to bullying Walter, who must pin down the negative image for the final issue's cover. Walter consistently spaces out, especially when he's fantasizing about his co-worker, Cheryl (played sweetly by Kristen Wiig).
Unable to locate the image, which was shot by a long-standing Life magazine photographer, Sean O'Connell (an explorer superbly pronounced by Sean Penn), Walter heads to Greenland where he hopes to find Sean and his coveted shot. Once there, Walter jumps out of a helicopter only to be nearly eaten by a shark when landing in the ocean. It's such a heart-pounding experience that even Walter wonders if what he just endured was real. But, alas, Walter's finally having actual adventures, as his capacity for taking risks increases.
In the midst of more action â€" Walter skateboards down a hill in Iceland and escapes an erupting volcano â€" he receives recurring calls from an eHarmony customer service rep (a facetious Patton Oswalt), who is determined to help Walter make his dull online dating profile more appealing.
As we watch Walter's world open up, we follow his journey across alluring locations like the Himalayas. When we finally meet Sean, who is perched on a mountain waiting for the perfect shot, he speaks to Walter's evolution as he tells him he sometimes prefers to savor his personal moments instead of being distracted by his camera.

Fans created the "#JustinVisitKate" hashtag shortly after Kate's accident, and the video features Justin’s team: Scooter Braun, Dan Kanter, and Alfredo Flores, as they reflected upon how they first heard about Kate, and how fans included them in the campaign.
In the video, we see Kate recalling her car crash, and Justin and his friends, as they prepared to embark on their long journey to the other side of the world in order to make both Kate's and her friends' dreams come true.

All year long, certain magazines thrive on celebrity weight loss stories, of which, everyone knows, there is no shortage. Last week, Kim Kardashian appeared on the cover of Us Weekly in a tiny white bikini; inside, she talked about losing her pregnancy weight. A few weeks back, celebrity power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé announced they'd be embarking on a vegan diet. Of all the diets Beyoncé has plugged -- perhaps most famously, she credited the master cleanse liquid diet for helping her shed 20 pounds, fast, for her role in Dreamgirls -- veganism is one of the more reasonable. That said, the singer has become so well known for her recreational dieting that last month she inspired one writer to try out "the entire range" of her diets, for 10 days. Said writer lost 10 pounds.
Traditionally, celebrity weight loss stories are called out as destructive and anti-feminist, a source of body image issues among girls and women and of unrealistic expectations about how women should look in general. And yet, there's something refreshing -- and, perhaps, even healthy -- about those celebrities who publicly discuss their ups and downs.
According to market research company the NPD Group, 23 percent of women are on a diet at any given time. Yet dieting remains a private issue for most women, who often hide their efforts from friends and family out of embarrassment or fear of failure or of being perceived as vain. In the new issue of ELLE, Marisa Meltzer writes about how, during a recent weight loss regimen in which she shed 60 pounds, she told only one friend. "Dieting is my biggest secret," she writes. "I wish I could say it's a thrilling one, like dating your college TA, but it's more like waxing my lip -- I don't ever want to talk about it, and I'd rather people thought I never had to worry about it in the first place." Considering a Glamour magazine survey revealed that women recorded an average of 13 negative thoughts about their bodies a day -- nearly one for every waking hour -- not worrying, for most women, seems just as unrealistic as a size 00.
Famous people, on the other hand, almost necessarily play out their weight issues in a very public forum. And while some may applaud celebrities who, like Jennifer Lawrence, eschew diets entirely -- Lawrence recently told Harper's Bazaar UK that "If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet,' I'm like, 'You can go f*ck yourself'" -- that come-what-may attitude simply isn't the reality, or the luxury, for many women. And so chronic dieter Beyoncé, who once called herself "a natural fat person, just dying to get out" over a lunch consisting of six tomato slices and four cucumber slices becomes, at least, a more believable role model. Unlike Jennifer Lawrence -- unlike most of America -- she may have to diet every once in a while. And so what if she does?
Though the subtext of nearly all celebrity weight loss tales is that skinny is the ideal, it's comforting to know that famous people are not above the struggle and that, at least in some cases, it can be just as difficult for a rich, famous, and usually very beautiful person to lose weight as it can for anyone else. Though it may be tempting to roll your eyes when Gwyneth Paltrow promotes yet another detox because she's eaten too much bread and cheese, there's something inherently satisfying about the fact that weight is on even her mind -- that even Gwyneth Paltrow is not too "perfect" to care.
Like many women, ELLE's Meltzer wonders if, through dieting, "being admired for our looks is participating in our own oppression, minimizing our brains and power." But it's certainly tough to believe that Us Weekly's cover girl Kardashian is in any way participating in her own oppression. For the rest of us, there's something very powerful about choosing to take control of your body and health. Former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal is saying "no way" to his ex-wife Shaunie's plans for a new reality TV show.
Shaunie, who is currently the executive producer of VH1's "Basketball Wives," has received a deal from the network for a new reality bit, titled "The Shaunie Project." The show is to follow Shaunie and her children, four of which she had with Shaq before and during their marriage, throughout their daily lives. The project is currently at a stalemate, however, as Shaq is refusing to let his ex-wife put their kids on camera.
Sources familiar with the dispute tell TMZ that Shaunie has told her ex-husband that "The Shaunie Project" will resemble "The Cosby Show," in terms of the amount of family drama it displays, and that it will showcase "good, wholesome, family fun." He's not convinced though.
Daily Mail reports that Shaunie filed an emergency order on Thursday (Dec. 19), asking for immediate permission to feature her children on the show, because filming is slated to begin in the first week of January and she needs to meet production deadlines. The judge, however, sided with Shaq, who vehemently opposed the request. Apparently, a hearing for Shaunie's request is scheduled for late next month, but she also claims that the show will be scrapped if she cannot get approval to start filming at the beginning of the year. It is unclear whether Shaq's win in court is the last word on the matter or if Shaunie will continue to seek permission to film their children.
TMZ obtained copies of Shaunie's legal documents, which have created quite the he-said, she-said situation. She claims that Shaq is not actually against the idea of his children appearing on reality TV and that he even tried and failed three times to pitch reality shows that would focus on himself and the kids. She also claims that Shaq told her he was fine with "The Shaunie Project," just as long as she paid him $ 1 million, which she refused to do, and that he only actually sees his kids 8-10 days out of each year. Sources close to the former NBA player claim that none of this is true. Shaunie also states that she needs the show in order to pay her bills, because Shaq does not provide her with any alimony, but TMZ reports that she actually receives $ 100,000 per month in child support from her ex-husband.

Giving fans a weekend treat, Miley Cyrus shared a quick preview of her music video for “Adore You†via her Instagram this afternoon (December 20).
In the 15-second teaser, the “Wrecking Ball†singer rocks a barely there bra, while her single blasts in the background. There’s even a nip slip at the end.
Despite the recent revealing selfies and the video, Miley made a promise during her "10 Most Fascinating People" interview with Barbara Walter that she would wear more clothing in 2014.
"I don't always want to be naked," the 21-year-old singer stated. "Once I came out on stage... I was in a full Marc Jacobs dress, I was completely covered, and they wrote, 'Miley is boring. She doesn't get naked and she's boring.' So no matter what I do, I'm either boring or I'm a sl*t."
"2014's gonna be a whole ‘nother year. I'm gonna work on my acoustic record, I'm gonna go on tour- clothes on, too! You will be be happy," Cyrus reassured Barbara. Of all the controversial remarks "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson made during his infamous interview with GQ, one quote in particular pushed A&E over the edge.
An executive from A&E told TheWrap that Nancy Dubuc, CEO of A&E Networks, ultimately decided to suspend Robertson from the filming of "Duck Dynasty" because of his comparison of homosexuality to bestiality.
“Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong. Sin becomes fine," Robertson told GQ's Drew Magary about immorality. “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men ... Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers -- they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.â€
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, A&E announced Robertson would be "indefinitely" suspended from the reality series.
“A&E decided to consider the company’s brand and corporate values over that of the show’s audience,†Eric Schiffer of Reputation Management Consultants told TheWrap. “It was a measure of deference to the larger company’s demographic.â€
The recent controversy is surely a blow. "Duck Dynasty" became the most-watched reality series in cable history when Season 4 premiered in August with 11.8 million viewers, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The 67-year-old's comments revealed a darker side of reality television, one that previously reared its ugly head when Food Network celebrity Paula Deen was fired over the summer for her racist comments.
"Channels like A&E program 'regular' people mostly to make curiosities out of them," Jeffrey McCall, a media studies professor at DePauw University, told the Los Angeles Times. "The programmers want to manage every aspect of their 'reality' commodities, but that isn't really possible. If A&E wants the Robertsons to make money for the channel by being authentic, then at some point A&E has to accept that reality stars will be real human beings. If A&E didn't like the Robertsons as they are, then why did they give them a weekly platform?"

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, A&E announced Robertson would be "indefinitely" suspended from the reality series.
“A&E decided to consider the company’s brand and corporate values over that of the show’s audience,†Eric Schiffer of Reputation Management Consultants told TheWrap. “It was a measure of deference to the larger company’s demographic.â€
The recent controversy is surely a blow. "Duck Dynasty" became the most-watched reality series in cable history when Season 4 premiered in August with 11.8 million viewers, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The 67-year-old's comments revealed a darker side of reality television, one that previously reared its ugly head when Food Network celebrity Paula Deen was fired over the summer for her racist comments.
"Channels like A&E program 'regular' people mostly to make curiosities out of them," Jeffrey McCall, a media studies professor at DePauw University, told the Los Angeles Times. "The programmers want to manage every aspect of their 'reality' commodities, but that isn't really possible. If A&E wants the Robertsons to make money for the channel by being authentic, then at some point A&E has to accept that reality stars will be real human beings. If A&E didn't like the Robertsons as they are, then why did they give them a weekly platform?"

They were involved in a very public feud over a forthcoming controversial Vanity Fair story earlier this year, but now Gwyneth Paltrow and editor-in-chief Graydon Carter are back on good terms.
An insider told press, "Gwyneth and Graydon spoke on the phone a few weeks ago. They worked out some of their differences."
Back in September, the “Shakespeare in Love†lady tried to block a story VF was writing about her by asking all of her famous friends not to divulge any information about her.
However, Carter ended up going forward with the project, citing Paltrow’s email to her pals as the final determiner. "We started a story on her. We have a very good writer and it'll run. She sort of forced my hand."
Now, the piece has been modified following Gwyn’s talk with Graydon. “There may be a story, but it won’t be as bad as it originally was going to be.â€
"The story was never going to be as bad as tabloids were guessing. That whole angle about the alleged affairs was something that was made up by Page Six and was never something that anyone at Vanity Fair believed was legitimate and was never going to be in a story they were working on."

Ben Stiller is well known for his career as both an actor and a director. But apparently, his roles as husband and father have been an equally meaningful journey in his life. The actor opened up in an interview with Parade Magazine about falling in love and starting a family.
As a way to celebrate Stiller's new movie, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," Parade asked the actor about the important adventures in his own life. Stiller explained that love hit him quicker than he expected when he started dating actress Christine Taylor.
"[Christine and my] relationship was a gradual thing that happened over a quick period of time, maybe seven or eight months. We just started hanging out with each other and it developed into, ‘Wow, this feels great. I really like this person. I think I love this person. I really do -â€" I love this person.’ It hit me out of the blue,†he described.
When Stiller proposed to Taylor, he was working on "Meet the Parents" and found laughable similarities between his life and his character's. "I asked her father for permission before I did it," he recalled of his proposal. "It was like 'Meet the Parents' in real life, because Christine’s father is an intimidating guy who owns a security company; we’re good friends now, but at the time I was in the basement rec room saying, ‘I really would like to marry your daughter …’ He’s a man of few words but he was very welcoming. I was more nervous asking him than asking her …"
The actor seems to have a comical outlook on many of his memories. He told Parade about his experience with having his children, now 8 and 11 years old. "When your wife is pregnant for nine months, you get used to the idea of pregnancy. Obviously, you know where it’s leading, but it almost becomes this abstract idea; and then suddenly the next time you go back to the house, you have another person living with you. Who you’ve just met."
Looking at his children now, Stiller says he's just wondering "how they became so well adjusted."
