Selena Gomez Cancels Tour Stops: On the go since her childhood, Selena Gomez announced she is canceling upcoming tour dates to get in a little down time. In a statement the star explained, "My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."
Adele Accepts MBE Honor: With a record setting album and multiple Grammy Awards under her belt, Adele was honored with a Most Excellent Order of the British Empire nod. The "Turning Tables" dame accepted the title from none other than Prince Charles during a gathering at Buckingham Palace.
Phil Robertson Suspended from "Duck Dynasty": After comments concerning homosexuality were published in GQ, A&E made the decision to suspend "Duck Dynasty's" Phil Robertson. Though he later explained his comments saying, “I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other," the network decided the suspension was in order. Their statement read: "We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series 'Duck Dynasty.' His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT c ommunity. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."
