Celebrating her big day far from home, Taylor Swift marked her 24th birthday in Australia on Friday (December 13).
Getting a head start on aging with the time zone difference, the "Love Story" singer tweeted, "It would appear that I'm now 24. That's on Australia time though. Still 23 in the States."
Later, the birthday girl shared a special surprise from home, a card from her cat Meredith, sent by her mother. Check it out in the player below.
Making the day even more wonderful, Taylor snagged a Golden Globe nomination for her and Jack Antonoff's song "Sweeter than Fiction" off of the "One Chance" soundtrack.
